Showbiz desk: Embarked on her acting career about 30 years back, audience-admired actress Rosey Siddiqui is still going strong. After portraying numerous challenging roles on both small and big screens as well as in the theatre arena, the actress will now appear as a villain on the big screen for the first time in her career.
Rosey will be seen playing as Daisy Sarkar, a negative role in an upcoming film titled ‘Poran’ directed by Raihan Rafi.
About appearing as a villain for the first time, Rosey said, “I was offered to play the role of villain in multiple projects before. However, I didn’t work in any of the projects due to various reasons. But I always wanted to play such a role in the film. I am working in the film with a lot of challenges because I really liked my character.”
Alongside Rosey as a villain, popular actors Bidya Sinha Mim, Yash Rohan, Shilpi Sarkar Apu and Shariful Raj, among others, are in the different roles of ‘Poran’.
